This is a fantastic place to buy rocks! If you need to buy rocks, this is your place. They have great prices, a great selection of inventory, and EXCELLENT service. I came here looking for just 15 rocks and the employees were super helpful. I highly recommend Acapulco Rocks.

I’m all about supporting local family businesses. We usually have pretty good customer service at Acapulco Rock, but unfortunately we recently had one quite bad of an experience with a certain employee on Sunday. We were able to speak to the very diplomatic owner who made thing right. Over all we are happy with the price and quality of stones we have purchased.

The people who own & run this business are FANTASTIC! They are super helpful, kind & patient. Great customer service at the counter & the yard workers are wonderful. Excellent place to go for any kind of rock or soil needs.

Extremely nice people, excellent prices, excellent product (I bought super blend back to back 2 years in a row). The soil is incredible for vegetables.

This is the least professional soil product company I have done business with. First, they don't label their bags, so if any are left over, or if it is a multi-product order, it's easy for the crew to get lost in what is what.nAlso, I ordered several yards bagged of what was supposed to be grape compost and they delivered to San Francisco a product that clearly was not grape compost. It was smelly to indicate it had manure in it which also indicated it was not composted enough. After conversations with the owner about having a lab test on it to be sure it was not going to damage the sensitive planting it was installed on, the test results were not as promising as I had hoped it would be to avoid any further problems. The mulch had been installed, because it was too complicated to remove it from the site. We are closely monitoring the landscape to watch for adverse effects due to the products high salinity and elevated elements. At this point, the owner of Acapulco, said he would reimburse for the cost of the lab analysis, which was all I asked and thought generous on my part. I could have made a bigger deal out of this fiasco. But, Acapulco has lost a customer. I am hoping to have no further dealings with this company, unless there is damage to the plants as a result of using the terrible lumpy, smelly, partially composted product that was sent. My Message to all purchasers of soil products is that you really don't know what is in it, or the quality of what you are getting unless you have a proven supplier you trust and lab tests are run on batches.
