VA Roanoke Regional Office

Veterans continue to suffer. Can't get through for any assistance

Earlier this week I needed copies of my DD 214, and other paperwork. I too, have had issues with the VA, as have many of my fellow vets and their dependents. This time I got help right away, and the rep was friendly, and knowledgeable! Amazing!

Absolute horrible!!! Tried to get in contact with them and you cannot talk to anyone. I am going to have to drive several hours too Roanoke to try to speak to someone about a veteran who is on hospice care, but the VA really doesn't care about veterans. No wonder the veterans suicide rate is so high, having to deal with the VA is extremely difficult!

Very poor service. I submitted all the correct forms doctors reports, etc... 3 months. So I do qualify for a Van Conversion. But as per usual operation for the past many moons. I've checked about 4 times on the status. Oh - Who did you talk to sir? Me a 100% connected, with PTSD and now Parkinson's with Lewy body Dementia. Who did I talk to? Need I say more!nThe whole system is a joke! They don't care!

Could not do anything to help my father obtain his DD214.
