My husband purchased a float for me for my birthday. I went this weekend and will give my honest review. The facility was clean and the float was relaxing. I am giving 4 start because 1. The light in my pod would not turn off which subtracted from my experience. 2. They do not provide you with hair dryers to dry your hair after your shower! I think this is really inconsiderate given the cold temperatures this time of year. I was expected to leave the studio with a wet head while it was cold outside and I had errands to run afterward. When I asked why they did not provide one, I was told that it was due to covid. If I can safely use the shower knobs after someone, I think that it would be safe to use a hairdryer as well- as long as the handle was sanitized after use!

Just had my first float experience and I’m definitely going again soon. Fantastic, clean space, and the float itself was amazing. I’ve tried meditating in many different settings over the years and was never successful until tonight! Heather was welcoming, professional and very thorough in explaining the process. I felt comfortable and cared for. It was wonderful and I’m looking forward spreading the word to my friends!

Have visited both Glenn Allen and Midllothian locations and have had wonderful experiences in both. Staff is very courteous and knowlegable. The transitional floats in either the pod or enclosed room as well as the salt rooms are all totally worth the experience and so relaxing. Looking forward to returning for my additional purchased floats and credits for red light beds and saunas.

Awesome place to get a floating massage. This facility is highly sanitized and the employees deliver quality and professional customer service. I will recommend to everyone!

I just past my 30 float mark and I feel so much better! I suffer from chronic pain, and the calm meditative environment at Transitions Float RVA is exceptional. With their new location in Midlothian (I used to got to Short Pump), as a member you get free specialty services like infrared saunas, sound therapy rooms- great before or after your float. I highly recommend trying it for a new relaxing experience floating in 1000 pounds of healing Epsom salt. I was hooked when I walked out the first time feeling immediately better!! I joined with a monthly membership I never miss for a really great deal.
