What a gem so close to Richmond. We are truly fortunate to have such a lovely business to visit. We have visited multiple times and my husband once planned an outdoor gathering here and they were great to work with. Both the food and beer were delicious, and I appreciate that they also serve wine from Virginia as an alternative to beer. We were dry under their large pavilion or on their patio when it rained. The whole property is immaculately maintained.nWe were lucky enough to stay the night in the cottages, and there is even a coffee/pastry/gift shop on the premises with delicious homemade treats available. A great amount of thought into the entire property. We are happy to support this local business.
What a BEAUTIFUL location! Definitely a great brewery with the more upscale feel of a winery (and they carry some excellent VA wines as well...so EVERYONE in our party was delighted!). The terraced yard seating and pavillion with heaters and firepits was PERFECT for warding off the slight chill and adding to the warmth of the environment...they even had a fella coming around to tend the fires!nAnd, did I mention the food??? The lamb taco sandwich was incredible!!...so good in fact, we ordered a second!! This place welcomes children but leave your pets at home for this one. Plus....the scenery and lovely cottages surrounding the brewery were another bonus! We can't wait to come back to spend the night in one and taste more delicious brews and vintages! This one is not to be missed!
I’ve been to (just about) every brewery in Richmond, and there’s simply no combination of better beer & food around. Unabashedly 5 complete stars. One of the bartenders is a bit too impatient with customers (noticed this on 3 different occasions...), but that doesn’t change the fact that we’ll remain “regulars” here.
Chef is on point. She makes magical concoctions. Everything I’ve tried has been magic in my mouth. Must try!
Hands down one of the best breweries ive visited in awhile. Beautiful inside and outdoor atmosphere, beers were incredible and even a small selection of wine. We will definitely be back.
