Walked down to the creek and checked out the FD Crockett. Loved the trails and the sculptures

Not much of a beach ,hard to get to. Only by low tide can you walk out to it.

Perfect to bring a picnic and watch the water ,plants, mirriad of butterflies and occasional wild life. The Barred owls seem to keep an eye on the place and would slowly follow you ,( from a distance) as yoi make your way in. Keep in mind the shore area is closed to visitors between April 15 and September 15 to protect the nesting sites.nThere's a path from the parking area to a place where you can launch your canoe or kayak.nBring binoculars.

Not a good place to visit, everything is very overgrown, and quiet muddy, not worth the gas in my opinion, hopefully its just the quarantine holding the matnence back, but until its fixed, im not returning!
