Jose Gonzalez is supposed to be the general manager but he is definitely not doing his job. I have quality issues when I order food that I keep thinking will get better with time but the food has been steadily declining in the last 6 months. The location is key to my returning as well as the great customer service and taste when this location opened. I just don’t know what happened here.
Today after I got off work I went to Colonial Heights around 7:30 pm to buy 4 burrito bowels but to my disappointment and other customers who were trying to open the door also with no success we realized the doors were locked shut so as we were knocking on the door an employee unlocks it, steps in the door way and says to us they are not allowing people to come in “today” (I asked why wasn’t a note posted on door and/or online) his reply was they aren’t allowed to post things on the door and then repeats orders can be placed online before going in and locking the doors behind him. So I quickly decided to drive to the Chester location. I’m writing this review because I’ve noticed that since “Covid” Colonial Heights’ professionalism of staff and the food quality has decreased astronomically and yeah I have kept going back only because there more convenient but after today, No more am I going to spend my money at an establishment that not only serves mediocre food and service but that also causes unnecessary stress because of all the ups & downs I have to deal with in life a eating place will not be one of my downs.
As best as you can possibly get from Chipotle. I ordered and paid for a steak bowl online and it was ready when I got there. Quick in and out and the food was great and the bowl was packed full. Very pleased.
The stake bowl is just excellent. They often give generous potions. I easily get 2 meals from one bowl which makes it a bargain.
Well use to be a nice spot down in Colonial heights. Now straight trash at it's finest. Always running out of food like cheese guacamole etc and the customer service is awful do to poor management...nSo sad and now the Chester location is getting hood as well.smh
