Every time I've gone to Daylight Donuts in St. George I've had the same experience. I wait in line for about twenty minutes, looking at the half-empty display case trying to decide which donuts to select that are still available, because I don't want to be one of the folks who orders something not ready and has to wait again.
Once I get to the front of the line, the experience improves dramatically. The donuts themselves are perfectly serviceable, the "standard" donuts being quite similar to Shipley's, and the service is fine but not outstanding. The prices are pretty standard fare for a donut shop. Given the lack of competition I would say I can recommend Daylight, but if another donut shop opens that does a better job of forecasting demand and processing orders so I don't have to invest an hour of my day to pick up a dozen, I'll probably change my tune.
These are my favorite donuts! I have been to ton of donut shops and my favorite are the old fashion wheels which some shops don't even make anymore. Check them out! And they have yummy pumpkin spice ones for fall right now. 🍩😋
New to St George so I wanted to find a local donut shop. Looked on giggle and found daylight donuts. Read some of the reviews. Mostly good except for the Karen's complaining about masks and social distancing. Future Karen's they all have masks on so don't hesitate to stop in. Now to the donuts. Got me a 6 pack of assorted. I really liked all the ones I tried. I'll be going back. I like 🍩
Staff! COVID19 pandemic is serious! spreads easily person to person Key Role! Protect your staff's health and safety of your customers. Protect your staff, should ALWAYS! wear face mask and gloves. ESPECIALLY, when handling any type of food! My husband went to pick up daylight delicious donuts, notice no gloves , or face mask,on staff not even practicing social distancing. He immediately, walked out. Will definitely, be back when we feel safe!!!!
Nice clean store, friendly staff. Brinkley helped me and was awesome! The donuts were great, wide selection. Like it matters to me cause all I eat are the apple fritters. Try one and you wont care about anything else. But who am I kidding, put a donut in front of me and I am eating it. Great store!!
