My husband (a physician) and I (a nurse) have floated for more than 30 years and were part owners of a floatation center here in Albuquerque in the 80s. We are thrilled to now be a part of the True Rest community.nTrue Rest Albuquerque goes above and beyond the highest expectations for cleanliness and friendliness.nFrom the moment you walk into the center, a sense of calm prevails. Maria and Joseph and all other staff members are knowledgeable and helpful.nEpsom salts have long been known to be extremely therapeutic for muscle aches and pains and soothing to hair and skin. The floatation pods use a saturated Epsom salt solution maintained at body temperature. This super-buoyant solution, combined with reduced sound and light, creates a “natural” biofeedback environment. Deep muscle relaxation and a meditative state of mind are induced. Such a state allows for greater access to our own self-healing capacities, making us active participants in our own health care.nTake time to take care of yourself. Climb into a floatation pod, bringing with you the tensions and stresses of everyday life. Enter a world of silence and inner peace. Our experience at the Float spa was amazing! Wish I knew about this earlier on! Maria and her staff were awesome! Thank You for explaining on how your system works and also what should be done before and after. We will definitely be going back! The atmosphere is so soothing and relaxing! The oxygen bar is a plus!

This therapy, and the location, is simply amazing. I end my work week with a float to relieve pain and stress, disconnect from society and recharge... and I get exactly that, and then some! Float for an hour, use the oxygen bar, refill my water bottle with Kangen water, rest and enjoy the effects of the float awhile longer, enjoy the hospitality(seriously, the staff are great) and the ambiance there... I love it! One of the best modalities to amp up your self care routine, hands down.

The Float Spa is a great place to go to disconnect from your daily life and to connect with yourself. I think one of the greatest feelings we can feel is to be at peace with ourselves. Although floating won't do the work for you, it provides an environment that's isolated form outside distractions so you can focus on your inward journey.

I cannot recommend True Rest Float Spa enough! Especially to expecting mamas. I went at 22 weeks pregnant and it was just what I needed. I left so relaxed and my mind was especially at ease! The staff was highly professional and I don’t think the spa could have been cleaner if they tried! Can’t wait for my next float!
