Terrible, horrible experience. They messed up my mother's prearrangements, were rude & stole money. So unprofessional. Took advantage of us when we were grieving and vulnerable. The list goes on. DO NOT by all means use this place for your loved ones. I am livid and will be spreading the word about all the stuff they did. I am still cleaning up the mess they made. They could care less. All the want is their money. Very greedy. They are also outrageously over priced.

I cannot thank every single person whom I came into contact with enough! John especially! He is a gentle giant and went above and beyond for me with the passing of my Dad. Thank you all for what you do!

Anywhere but here, and never again will I do business with these people, and I will do everything I can to actively discourage others from doing so.nnI'm the first to admit that this is not an easy service to provide. But this- this isn't how it should ever be done.nn1. Disingenuous attitude- don't refer to deceased as 'mom'. It's not your mom, and speaking of her that way while pushing grossly overpriced upsells is just plain upsetting.nn2. Disrespect to the buried- stepping on graves and headstones, setting up an outdoor service on top of them because you cram the plots too close together - smacks of greed.nn3. Walking into the meeting with the wrong person's folder in hand- inspired plenty of trust. Ditto stopping the conversation to ask for the meaning behind the slogan on a tshirt- I'm sorry, I didn't know this was time spent for your benefit.nn4. Discouraged from reading contracts- there was a misogynistic, horribly dismissive attitude 'it's all just boilerplate' when I insisted on reading the documents being signed.nn5. Intrusiveness- When trying to make decisions about what should and shouldn't be done, it would have been nice to have a little time with just the involved folk, of which the smarmy salesman isn't one, even if he's calling the deceased 'mom'.nnIt was a poor experience at the worst time for dealing with a poor experience.

I have never seen a more beautiful venue and services. Eric did a fantastic job at making us feel like a member of his own family. The staff attentiveness was stellar. I highly recommended Daniels Vista Verde funeral home!
