The cemetery was okay... until about half way through when my boyfriend and I discovered a dead cat near one of the mausoleums. It was literally ripped to shreds, but only surrounding the one mausoleum. Their was a rib cage on the right side, pieces on the left side, a weirdly placed unopened can of tuna behind it, and two of the cat's legs sitting right outside of the mausoleum doors that had clearly been placed there.
Beautiful old graves. Lovely space to walk.
Great place to stroll through and check out. A lot of squirrels running around and even spotted a rabbit. Good place to get some Erie vibes, get it. Took some pics in hope of catching a ghost, but got nothing : (
Very interesting and full of history.
There’s so much history and beauty here I love it here especially mid summer time
