Alfonso's Pastry Shoppe

Alfonso’s bakery was highly recommended but when we picked up the cake and served it the same day, the filling in the red velvet cake was old, molded and disgusting! Needless to say, we will NEVER be going back. We took this as a house warming dessert and after serving to guests, we had to grab the plates back immediately... still grossed out by the disgusting cake.

I go there every year for my birthday cake. They have the best buttercream icing of any bakery I have tried. Also the best sprinkle cookies.

I LIVE IN INDIANA AND MY MOM (SHE HAS LIVED IN INDIANA FOR 48 YEARS NOW) GREW UP IN NEW YORK, AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR I LIKE TO GET HER COOKIES FROM A BAKERY IN NEW YORK. FOR 3 YEARS NOW I HAVE USED ALFONSO'S I HAVE NEVER HAD A BETTER EXPERIENCE THEN WITH THEM. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXEPTIONAL THE COOKIES ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD (AND MAKES MY MOM SO HAPPY TO BOOT). I WOULD RECCOMMEND ALFONSO'S TO ANYONE THAT WANTS A REAL COOKIE ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING IT IS WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH YOU EVERYTIME I CALL YOU!!!

Bought a fried eggplant loaf of bread that is absolutely raw. It is so raw that I thought it was mozzarella at first. Alfonso’s has become a neighborhood disgrace, excluding this, their prices are outrageous. Thirty-two dollars for a mediocre cheesecake..? Five dollars per chocolate covered strawberry? Real ballsy, Alfonso’s can go scratch!

Alfonso's is my go to bakery on Staten Island! Everything is always delicious and they always give friendly service. You can't go wrong here. Enjoy!
