Allied was a terrible choice. They don’t care at all about customers. They where late on everything, left the house early without finishing, and then lied about what happened when we complained. The HQ and the local office would not return calls. Overall horrible experience from top to bottom.

Tough to do business with. They can't give a guess estimate over the phone based on number of rooms or sq ft, they must have an in home estimate, and those currently are over a week before they can send someone to the house. Tons of other companies can give me an estimate much sooner.

Initially we had a great experience until moving day when our walls and door were damaged by the inexperienced movers that Allied outsourced. This was rectified fairly easily and payment was taken care of on a very timely basis. When our furniture arrived in Ft. Lauderdale we had to file a claim for 5 items one of which was our grand piano. It arrived with broken keys, scratched, and wood missing from the side panel. When the outsourced movers set up the piano, they put the legs on incorrectly, threw the pedal supports in the case and left the keys in terrible condition. We asked for a minimum of $1,900 to get the piano put back together which is nothing considering that it is a $25,000 investment. To date, we received a letter telling us that they will only give us $1,100 for the repair and ignored my request for a $300 piano technician fee to assess the damage. DO NOT use this company if you are considering moving any fine musical instrument. It has now been 3 months since our move, the piano is sitting crooked in the corner of the room and cannot be played because of the missing keys. We have received the claim for telling us what they will fix, but no payment has ever been received. I'm so disappointed that I don't know where to turn other than legally.

I wish I could post NEGATIVE stars as a rating. This was the absolute WORST experience. Received an estimate of $2100. When they 'weighed' my 1 BR apartment furniture they are trying to charge me $3100. They said it was an additional $800 for 6 boxes.. Really?nnThe jerk-wad driver called my Sunday evening at 7pm and told me he can only deliver at 12 noon on Tuesday. I SPECIFICALLY told the estimator that I need weekend delivery because I work during the week just like them.nnAfter reading additional reviews, I wish I would have done my due diligence and not used these crooks.nnAfter raising my blood pressure talking to the fools in the office on at least 20 different occasions, I decided on principle, I'm not going to pay a penny more than the estimate or they can keep it. They are trying to extort me and take advantage by holding my belonging hostage.nnI'm a man of my word....nnI'm the customer here, not you... you DO NOT dictate to me terms when I'm paying you. I hope your company burns in corporate hell!
