Husband was told great things and promised a certain pay and certain amount of time off etc then went through orientation to find out it was all lies! Get it in writing before you do anything!
Montgomery Transport is a great company though I'm no longer there I have nothing bad to say about them !
The best trucking company I have found.
I've been driving for Montgomery about 7 months, and I couldn't be happier. The pay is great, and so are the miles. This company really takes care of their drivers in every way possible. For example when my truck ended up in the shop for a few days, instead of putting me in some motel room to wait, they rented me a car so I can go home and spend that time with my family. Montgomery has by far exceeded my expectations and I plan on staying with until I retire.
I've been with Montgomery for almost a year now and it is a great company to work for but with that being said the only downfall is no raises they do have a program called P4P which may be a incentive to some but for the drivers that keeps the left door closed is not so good. a word of advice if you want to keep good drivers keep the money coming the P4P Is not a guarantee each week. If they gave raises I would probably never leave I'd retire here but unfortunately I have been looking elsewhere as we all know everything has doubled if not tripled in price just in the last 6 months. So if mommy and daddy still pays for everything for you it'll work out. But I have a mortgage , Wife and Kids I can't call my mortgage company and tell them I didn't make P4P this week I'm going to be short on my payment hopefully this message reaches the right person and things change
