Chair King Backyard Store

Be prepared to wait a very long time to get your furniture. My boyfriend and I initially purchased a teak set in late Nov 2020. We were told that production was running behind due to covid and that our furniture would not be ready until early January. We said that was fine and paid for everything. Well, January became February and then February became March. Finally I called the store and was told that our furniture would not be ready until May of this year! The sales associate never offered a discount, only offered to take the delivery fee off the final bill. I asked them to just refund me my money so I could find another option and they refused saying the items were “final sale”. I told them i never would have purchased $3k worth of furniture if i had known it would take 6 months to arrive! Finally, I contacted my credit card company and officially filed a dispute. That seemed to do the trick because as soon as I informed chair king of this they refunded our money. I think the most frustrating thing is that despite all the production issues they seem to be having with our patio set, they are continuing to keep it on the sales floor and on their website for people to consider purchasing! I only know this because our sales associate tried to convince her manager to let us take the sales floor set and they refused. All I can say is NEVER AGAIN. I highly recommend checking out The Backyard and Patio Store in Bee Cave instead.

Great experience. I was hesitant to go in because the prices were higher than Home Depot and Lowe’s, but WOW. What a difference 10 times nicer furniture. (I went back to HD and Lowe’s after to look at their furniture and it wasn’t even comparable). Also Shelly my sales person was great. She greeted me when I came in, asked if I needed help, then backed off so I could look and then checked back in and answered all of my questions. She was personable too. Highly recommend!

Great sales person!! Not pushy but very helpful with helping us put together a very nice design for our outdoor porch!! Highly recommend!! Great quality furniture and cushions!! For an added plus we were lucky to get in on their sale which made the experience even better!!
