Does lovely work and provides advice and years of experience with every interaction at no additional cost.nHe repaired a violin I purchased and a family heirloom as well. Also has reasonable prices on accessories. A wide variety of used stringed instruments for sale for serious and beginner players. Good support and selection for rentals as well.

Jack has done multiple instruments for me to this date and I will gladly promise that none of my stringed instruments will go to anyone else. He rebuilt a family violin for me at about half of what I thought I was going to have to spend and he is an absolute Wizard with my Gibson acoustic Guitar. He constantly finds ways to coax even more beauty out of every instrument he has touched of mine. This is just his quality of work. What you get when you walk in to the shop is not only that quality of work at an amazing value, but Jack has taught me something every time I have walked in to the shop. He would rather teach you something then charge you for work you don't need him to do. Jack is a stand up businessman and again will be the only person that touches any of my stringed instruments as longs as his doors are open!

Mr. Rasmussen and his team nursed back to health an old family violin and I am so pleased! Every time I speak with him I learn something new. I basically look for reasons to call in or stop by. Just buying a sting can be an educational experience, in which they insure you get personalized/experienced care. Thank you!

This is a very late rating. I went to the shop in June of 2019, looking for a G-string. Obviously this was not a large purchase, but the staff treated me like I was purchasing a $10,000 instrument. Since this was for a “new to me” ukulele, I knew nothing. They helped me select a clip-on tuner that met my needs and budget perfectly. While they don’t normally sell ukuleles they were still very knowledgeable of sound and music. I will be returning soon because they meet my needs.
