This is our first time using a moving service and loved every minute of it. They were very professional, took care of our belongings and cared about our experience. I would definitely recommend Slater for local and regional moves! We didn’t have to pack a thing.
Slater guys are the best!!! Quick and cautious!!! packing flew by and next thing I know they are loading the truck!! Grateful and stress relived that we hired them to move us!
Unfortunately, I cannot give this company a positive review. My senior citizen mother was taken by over 1,000 dollars by these movers and they have used paperwork stating she approved the additional charges as evidence to win a credit card dispute. I have talked with their sales rep and have not been able to reach the Operations Manager, not for lack of trying, to show evidence of over packing, padded packing (five sheets of paper for a cable cord in a dish pack box ALONE, another box with only a footstool and a well wrapped windbreaker) and over use of packing (packed into wardrobe boxes many boxes already sufficiently packed to create weight). But, they won the dispute and they walk away with easily $1,000 more than expected or quoted or even agreed to with additional packing that needed to be done on the day of the move. Good for them but I warn anybody to use. them.. And, the salesman is the former owner and he was a friend of my Mother's. Just think how they will be to strangers.
These professionals moved an antique baby grand piano out of my home and delivered and set it up at its new home. They did a great job - quick, thorough and respectful. Highly recommend!
