Was passing through Paris and stopped in Evergreen Cemetery to visit my grandparents and could not remember or find their headstones. Mr. Blassingame the cemetery manager was most kind, friendly and helpful, providing not only a map with directions also some of the 154 years of history on Evergreen Cemetery.nThank You JT it was a pleasure meeting you and visiting Evergreen.
When the time comes, there is no better place to spend eternity. Peace and beauty are what greets the visitors to your final destination. God Bless the Evergreen grounds, and the mortal remains of the loved ones it contains.
Evergreen Cemetery is on S Church (TX-19 / 24) just inside Loop 286, but the Field Office facilities are located at its northern boundary, between Farm Rd 1507 (a.k.a. New Jefferson Rd) & Evergreen St, the north-most gravel street within Evergreen Cemetery. On this block there is a:n① Residencen② Residential Garagen③ Evergreen Field Officen④ 3 Bay Workshop / maintenance garagen☗ Between the Field Office & Workshop there's mowing, road maintenance, digging & hauling equipment. Regardless of equipment, these caretakers do a SUPERB job of maintaining this massive perpetual care cemetery.n✅ Good job folks ‼ufe0f
