Perfunctory mowing & trim job. Trees are in surprisingly good shape.ud83eudd5aMust have Bowtruckles living in & guarding them. Perimeter fence poorly maintained. Once was a sign on Cherry St, , but the wood is so weathered you can scarcely tell it was ever painted.n✜ Land for Old City Cemetery, was donated by the founder of City of Paris - George Washington Wright. It was privately owned, but used as the primary city cemetery 1845-1865. In 1922 Old City was deeded to & care taken over by City of Paris.n✜ Besides the Texas Historical Comm sign & many vandalized markers, Old City's most prominent feature is the 100 + foot standpipe (H₂0 tower on the cemetery's east side.)n✜ Find•A•Grave reports 549 known graves here.
