Mrs. Solum is a fantastic teacher. We've had two kids (very different) study piano with her and both have blossomed in ways I would not have predicted. She has a kind, gentle demeanor and is a steady encourager; but at the same time she has very high expectations for each student and will not suffer those who don't practice the discipline to reach them. We were very sad when she had to close her studio to in-person lessons. We have not found an equal replacement yet.

Highly recommend Suzanne And Sunshine Studio! Our experience with her was life changing for my daughter Faith. Suzanne opened doors for her in such a significant way. She immediately saw the gift for composition in my daughter and guided her to the right people. Faith was completely prepared for college courses after working with Suzanne for a couple of years. She grew exponentially under her tutelage and mentor ship. Suzanne is an excellent role model for children and she never stops learning and growing as a musician herself. My daughter would not have achieved all that she has to this point without the guidance of Suzanne, a true professional with such a gift for music and for people!

I highly recommend Sunshine Piano Studio. Suzanne Solum, the piano teacher, has a gentle spirit towards students, is knowledgeable, and treats each child with great respect...according to their tastes in music, abilities, and personalities. My grandson started lessons with her at 9 years old and was very timid. He is now 12 years old, has respect for his abilities (of which she helped him to recognize), and has found something that is his own in life to develop...music to create as his heart guides.

I highly recommend Sunshine Piano Studio and Ms. Suzanne. Both myself and my two daughters have taken lessons from her. She worked with each of us customizing our lessons to each of our piano goals. She is patient and kind and fun. She encourages you to stretch yourself and celebrate your accomplishments without being too hard on yourself. Anyone can play piano and Ms. Suzanne can show you how!

Sunshine Piano has been a perfect match for our son. Suzanne has brilliantly inspired our son over the past 9 years and helped him identify his passion in music composition as well. We have recieved far more than I ever expected from a piano teacher. Now my son will be able to enjoy playing the piano for the rest of his life and possiblly have a career in composing if he so chooses. I would highly recommend Sunshine Piano to anyone at any age for piano lessons that they can truly enjoy and maximize their gift.
