The woman in the office, Sarah, was extremely rude and impatient during my visit. Totally disappointed at her behavior given that many people come here to handle legal paperwork and documentation before travel, which can get pretty tedious. I wish she could’ve been a bit more considerate of that.

We had a good experience at the Thai Consulate’s office. The representative was pleasant and helpful. She answered questions and explained things. The Thai consulate’s office felt welcoming and was nicely decorated with colorful representations of Thailand. Ours was just a walk-in, but for our return visit, we were given an appointment. Visa was ready sooner than appointee time and the representative gladly accommodated our request to come a day early.nI also noticed while at the office that the representative also took phone calls and gladly answered questions. That’s one way to get information and save yourself a trip. There is also a wealth of information on their website. Come prepared with everything they require.nThis office shares a space with a law office on the 8th floor. Just go to the front and ask, and the friendly person behind the desk will point you in the right direction.nAmple (paid) parking is conveniently located in the basement. It’s $2 if you stay longer than 5 minutes. You can pay by card or cash.nThere are public restrooms on the 1st floor as well as cafes for refreshments.nThe building is just off of I-59 and only requires a turn to get back to the freeway.
