Not happy with the unnecessary rush the self checkout puts on the customers. Really didn't like that our basket wheels locked at the door after having the self checkout attendant help us at the self check out station. Really annoying to watch another customer with nothing in her basket have her wheels locked going inside. Other than that I enjoyed going to grab a quick snack with my family.
Deli offers many brands and options in lunch meats and cheese. Slice to order, prepackaged and even deli sliced bags ready to go. Salad bar is large but it is way too open and less hygienic ; so I avoid it. Not Krogers fault but they have a large number of dirty vagrants who wander in & out of the store. Their roasted chickens are less fatty and well done, unlike other stores. Baby back ribs are good & very reasonable. Be sure to check times on hot food; so you dont get oldest one.
A small savory roast chicken lasted two meals and a snack. Fresh sides offered are macaron,potato and cole slaw salads,baked beans and a nice variety of soups. Missed seeing macaroni and cheese and had to find a frozen version. There are a number of wraps, sandwiches and tossed salads and the bakery is too close to resist.
d I love Kroger fruit, vegetables, meats,the sales and Kroger card is a big help. Things for your home necessary every day things. Everything is good and a sale every day
