Funnel Cakes & Indian Cusine

The location was very hard to get to. We waited in traffic from hiking for over 2 hours to get there. It was the only place we were going. I read great reviews about the owner and there was a woman at the register that was not nearly as excited as I was to be there. The funnel cakes are NOT vegan as I saw advertised. The vegetable samosa was the best thing we had. The food was seasoned pretty well and maybe I'm spoiled but I always have naan with Indian and they did not offer that. Not worth the trouble.

Wow the highlight of our trip so far! Such a delightful couple cooking authentic Indian cuisine. The potato cakes topped with chickpeas were incredible. We had Chicken Tikki Masala which was melt in your mouth delish. Ask about the chicken dishes!!!

After Anakeesta we decided to try this indian cuisine. For the starters we ordered Samosa, Aloo Tikki, Bhelpuri and for dinner we ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Achari Masala, Dal Tadka and rice. It was a small cozy shop. All the Covid-19 guidelines were followed. The order took about 20 minutes to come. The best part of the order was Samosa, Chicken Achari Masala. Rest was okay. I felt as if the location was smoking zone where people used to stop by for smoking, which was very frustrating for someone who hates smoke. However,nTaste of food is goodnLong wait timenNot much optionsnTea is not that good. I read in reviews that tea is good but I did not felt so. It was okay.nThis place is more of a quick bite place rather than satisfying your hunger.

It is just a small to-go eatery. They don’t have a restaurant dining. There is an open space in the complex with seating arrangement where we can have the food. But the food was so good. We ate there twice in our trip to smokies. That is the only Indian restaurant around. Limited food menu but everything were so good and tasted like good quality. Not like just for name sake Indian food where they just coat some gravy over chicken. It was properly done. We tried 3 entrees in chicken, chaat items etc. All were good.
