I recently had Eyelid surgery performed by Dr Christina Choe. I was very apprehensive about the surgery, reasonably so due to the fact that I would be looking at the results every day. Dr Choe and her staff were very patient, professional, examined my eyes, explained the procedure and answered all of my questions. I was impressed and finally decided on the surgery. The procedure went smoothly with Dr. Choe explaining what to expect at each step throughout the procedure. Afterwards, she gave me complete instructions on how to take care of my eyes. I had some pain the first day (not too bad) and took a pain pill when I got home, and that was it. Unbelievably, I had no pain, a little discomfort from swelling but no pain after that. My stitches came out in a little less than a week. On my month followup appointment with Dr. Choe, I had healed nicely. Several friends who did not know I had the surgery commented on how refreshed I looked. No one knew I had the surgery. I now feel so much better about my appearance, I have better peripheral vision in both eyes and as a bonus, I enjoy putting makeup on my eyes, they look so much bigger and brighter. I could not be more pleased. I shopped for a long time to find the right doctor to perform this procedure. Truly, the only regret I have is that I did not have this surgery sooner.
