Excellent customer service on a couple large orders. I see some bad reviews and cannot relate with the claims of poor service. All staff I've worked with are knowledgeable & friendly. They were happy to slow down and educate me & made sure I had everything I needed for my patio installation job. Great products & I'd definitely recommend.nnAs for delivery, I've received a couple large orders, each with several yards of gravel. They've taken time to ensure instructions are clear where the product goes & they've delivered per my instructions. Gravel/patio jobs have a tendency to be a bit messy and hard. If that's not your jam, hire a company to do the work for you and keep your job site clean.

Really want to support local businesses but really unhappy with two experiences and they weren’t right by me on how they charged me, felt cheated but brushed it off the first time, not the 2nd. This is in addition to prices that were already 50-60% higher. Plus my delivery was absurd costly, slow, and brought the wrong order. Going to stick to my place up north that’s further away but way more reasonable.

Truly the worst customer service on the planet? Hard to say, but I highly recommend going elsewhere. If you do go here, bring a snack and a book cuz you'll be waiting a while even for a laughably small purchase.

Caution: This place has a law Firm send threatening letters to sue you if you post a bad review, know your 1st Amendment Right folks and be prepared to file a counter suit like I am.nnSimilar experiences to all the other bad reviews!nnI would do 2 stars since it’s a convenient location however I will not be shopping here anymore after 7 client complaints, and countless contractor complaints, consistently over the last 10 years. I been avoiding reviewing this place for many years until I could get a fair chance to experience it for myself. No one is perfect so I wanted to be completely fair with this place from start to finish before reviewing it for myself.nI am a General Contractor; we have 4 Landscape sub-contractor companies over the years who all prefer Bellevue Mutual Materials to avoid drama from Pavingstone Supply. My employees and clients have all complained to me about this place for many years. I decided to come here myself and give them a fair chance.nMy experience is as follows:nOur clients called on speakerphone for exact pricing before contracts. Our clients and I also came in person to select the exact product and received a printed quote from owners wife in person that day with her name printed on the quote. When I came to pick up the product the following week they changed the pricing, common complaint, costing us about $2,500.00 more than the quotes for myself and for my landscapers 6 contracts we put him on as well. My contractor gave up on these guys and went to Mutual Materials after he went through hell. They said my products were on site and ready for delivery or pick up immediately, not true though. When we came to pick up supplies, nothing was ready as stated by phone 30 minutes prior, and instead of getting it all together they dragged it out over 4 days too. Each time I came to pick up what ever supplies are finally ready, I waited 2&1/2 hours out front the first day for them to load the truck, the 2nd day we waited 3 hours for them to load the truck, 3rd day we called 6 times to make sure our order was ready this time, and each time we called and spoke to Brandon they said it would be another 30-60 minutes until we were waiting 5 hours to get loaded up while paying a crew by the hour to wait. Brandon stated it was because the owners wife forced him to keep telling me lies. Brandon is a nice employee who also hates working here like the other guys we talked to they all hate working here, pretty sad:( The last day we were there we finally complained politely to the woman owner and she was not too receptive. For example I said, this is our last stop here after waiting 4 days in a row for them to get things in order and her reply was not an apology but a shocking statement like, “ok you don’t have to shop here anymore if you don’t want to”. Our last and 4th day in a row attempting to get the rest of our supplies the employees working there told us that he hates working here, they can’t keep employees, and that the woman inside always gives lower dishonest quotes by phone to get customers to show up, then charges way more after the fact and lies about it to everyone, and he has to hear it all day from customers making his job not fun at all. He stated he is looking for a new job ASAP and that no one stays with this company very long because the owners are irresponsible and hard on employees. I was shocked again that an employees would tell us this, and he said it right in front of the owners husband outside while loading so the owners are well aware of the fact that employees even hate working here, WOW! My 4 local landscape sub contractors in Ballard get 100% of the Landscape jobs from the General Contracting company I work for, and all of them refuse to shop here for me. Now I know why. Go to Mutual Materials to avoid lies, deceit, dishonesty, and Mutual Materials does not waste your time.nnYou guys are ridiculous sending threatening letters to sue me for writing a review. Get your business organized and you won’t have dozens of bad reviews, you could have earned a 5 Star review if your honest!

A lot of the reviews are from homeowners who would do better with a full service company or having their landscaper buy the product. They are set up for people and companies that know what they want. Lucky to have them in the city!
