Duck Donuts

Holy cow those bacon maple donuts are amazing!!! The donuts are really delicious! They truly are great donuts! The coffee is tasty too!nnCame here with the family when we were walking by one morning. There was a line to get in outside. Due to Covid only 10 people were allowed in at a time. The line to get in; was stretched outside. We were waiting to get in and some lady just drives up in her car and walks right in and cuts the whole line. I called the lady out and she just brushed me off saying well I wasn’t inside. I asked if she had a mobile pick up order. She said no. I let her know that she cut the whole line but she didn’t care. No one said anything else to her. Everyone could hear me call her out inside because only 10 people were allowed in at a time anyway!nnThe story does end well though!! When I was leaving a worker at Duck donuts asked if I wanted 12 donuts for free because someone never came to pick them up. I wonder if it’s because they heard the line cutting altercation I had with the Karen! Kudos to duck donuts for making it right by comping the free 12 donuts!! Even though they didn’t say anything at the time; they made it right!

This is such a fun tradition in the OBX! The donuts are amazing and they have many options. They are made to order. The new system is so great! You just choose your donuts at the register pay and they make them right there. So quick. I highly recommend the chocolate peanut butter and the regular glazed! A bit pricy but we go each year multiple times due to the great quality.

OMG! I'm in heaven! So glad that I don't have a Duck Donuts near my hometown, but honestly I would welcome it! I've tried many of their flavor options, would highly recommend anything! Nothing is bad! Donuts melt in your mouth.

If you are in kitty hawk or duck, you have to try these donuts. Order them for pickup, so they are fresh and warm. You can find the classic flavors, as well as couple fancy and special ones. Highly recommend this place for a snack with friends and family
