Got a B-Day cake, yum!

After shopping this store over the years faithfully, today I went through the self check outs which looked quite different. It appears that they have added more self check outs but have stopped receiving AMERICAN cash in any of them. I was only purchasing a loaf of bread and had to put a $3 charge on my credit card. Now your probably asking why not just go through one of the other checkout lanes...? There were 6 to 8 people waiting in every line with full carts. Why could they not have left a few self checkouts open for cash? It seems to me that this American owned company is turning there noses up to hard working Americans that are trying to support US Currency and not big biz credit card companies. It's a shame I will not be back.nI will support my local butchers, beef farms and vegetable stands. Shame on you! I expected more. By the way, Wally world still accepts cash in their self check outs and they are owned basically by China. ... go figure!

Best grocery store in the area! Pleasant people, great service, and a wonderful selection of items. Great perks as well when you belong to Ingles Advantage. Good savings on in-store specials and up to 30 cents off a gallon on gas. All of the employees are very thoughtful and kind in regard to people like me with mobility issues. They're always willing to help.

If your familiar with publics then you will love Ingles. The only bad I found was cashiers aren't friendly at all. They don't even acknowledge you when you unload your groceries. I was a cashier almost 20 years and you are supposed to leave your baggage at home and treat your customers as you would like to be treated. This is the Ingles in Blue Ridge Georgia by the way. Don't know about the other Ingles supermarkets. The store deserves a 5 star the Cashier's. No stars.

My wife and I are both bedridden at the moment and we've been depending on plates from the food bar, and they have been great until today. When we un wrapped the plate my wife's bed was full of corn meal that was supposed to be cornbread, it was awful. Still trying to get it cleaned up. The plates are being delivered to us so we can't check them before hand, but that's not funny at all, the bread wasn't cooked at all. I still gave 5 stars for all the good plates we've gotten up till now it's been wonderful, but next time I'll adjust my rating accordingly.
