Chicken pie had to much salt in it would not buy again

Go often and most the time something is not right but today to go was on point!

Called 2 hours ahead. Had a large party and explained to them we were find with being seated at separate tables near each other. Was told they could accommodate. When we arrived we understood people were ahead of us and that is fine. However we witnessed 9 families check in and be seated before us. After being told numerous times 5 more minutes. We were fine with waiting but an hour to be seated is sad. Especially when we called ahead and did everything that was asked of us. Next time we will go to another cracker barrel location. Because we love the food and the atmosphere but this location needs work.

Have you been here since the restaurant reopened after the shutdown? Kudos to management and staff because they evidently took the time to clean every nook and cranny of this restaurant. It looks amazing. Thank you.nnOn Thanksgiving Eve 14 family members met here for supper. Too many of us ordered “new” chicken fried chicken and all of us were disappointed in it. Now it is two pieces of Southern Fried Chicken and a bowl of white gravy. The people that make these decisions should fly to Texas and eat real chicken fry to refresh your memory of what it should be. You used to have great chicken fry but the Southern fried chicken has a thick, unpleasant crust. Otherwise the restaurant did a fine job with our other orders, except the food sat under hot lights too long. It’s a dead giveaway when the green beans are shriveled.

I placed an online order for curbside pickup. The email confirmation I received said our order would be ready at 6:57 p.m. I called the restaurant when we got there. The lady I spoke to said that they seen our order on the screen and someone would be out shortly. We waited for 25 minutes. My husband ended up walking into the restaurant to check the status. Our food was on the to go shelf inside the restaurant. My husband walked out at 7:38p.m. with our order. The receipt clearly indicated curbside.
