Alyssa Massage Spa

I love this place. They are highly skilled. It's a small business. It doesn't look like a Massage Envy type place. It's kind of a hole in the wall from the outside, but for an older building they made it nice and cozy inside. Again, the quality of the massage is far superior to a chain massage place. They don't do much of an intake at the beginning, but they intuitively know what and where to focus on. I am a loyal customer. Also, they are able to fit people in quickly so imagine you hurt yourself on the weekend, just give them a call and they will fit you right in.

Alyssa massage is local and AMAZING!!! I have visited a variety of massage therapists throughout my lifetime and this by far, was outstanding. She worked out my back pain with skillful technique while making it relaxing. I am on a teacher’s budget so needed a “good” place that didn’t cost over $100 for an hour massage. This place is affordable and beyond worth it!

Made a call to see what the prices were and they seemed fair. The building can be a bit of a caution flag cause it's small and easy to pass up. But reviews on other sites were great and didn't hint to any weird activities also going on.nnI showed up a bit early and I think the lady was by herself and it was about an hour and a half before closing. But she was friendly and led me to the room to wait while she finished with another client.nnThe place was cold like a refrigerator, but the bed had a heater on it and there was a small electric heater on the floor too. Fine by me cause I love cold weather.nnThe massage was great! Felt relaxed and ready to take on the world. Till a later my muscles ached a bit. Last time that happened was with another person when I went to Massage Envy. Soaked in a tub of Epson salt and body was feeling even better!nnDon't let that deter you though. Haven't had a massage like that since Massage Envy and I kept that same therapist for a few years. I'll definitely be back again.

Its my first time to have massage in this place. I had one hour massage. It was good eventhough i did not get the massage as i expected. I wanted deep tissue massage iso hot stone, because there was no conversation at all since i stepped into the spa place. I was a dissapointed w/ the lady who gave me bill and asked tips bu saying “do you pay the tips cash or charge to the card? the tipping is usually $20, how much you would give?“ geeeez

Good massage and fair price.
