After being told repeatedly—by possibility the RUDEST manager in the manager kingdom (Ginger...if I’m not mistaken)— to make my family and I wear out masks at the bar, use a new set of disposable gloves and clean plate for each trip to buffet. Of course, we completely understood and had NO problem whatsoever following the rules. However, after it was pointed out to me that said manager was working AT the buffet without a mask and barehanded, my family and I almost simultaneously lost our appetites!!! To top it off, this went on long enough for me to catch a quick picture of her in her mask free and barehanded duties behind the bar attempting to make the possible contaminated food look as appeasing as she could manage for the patrons who unbeknownst to them—safety is only a one way street at Morgan City Shoney.

Hadn't been in years. Didn't use the breakfast bar. Ordered off menu. Food average. Hot fudge cake not nearly as good as I remember. Prices okay. Service okay.

I’m giving them a 4/5 because everything was good . They have a really good dessert call “ skillet cookie “ ,big enough to share with 2 people. The only problem that I had was the food was out for a little bit, beside that everything was good .

Buffet for Sunday lunch was okay, the food didn't seem to be fresh. They do have you wear gloves and a mask at the buffet bar. Menus are being sanatized. Older establishment, host and waitress were great!

I ordered a philly cheesesteak sandwich and onion ringsnThe staff was nice and impressive that EVERY crew member was wearing a mask properly.nThe food was terrible.nonions and green peppers on the sandwich were burned.nI have lived in a hotel in Morgan city for 10 days and eaten out every day.nThis was the only restaurant that i visited that did not have patrons walking in without masks on.nEvery other restaurant in Morgan City has signs up, stating that masks are required but the staff doesn’t care enough about guest health to ENFORCE THE MASK MANDATE.nThe cook at waffle house had his mask below his mouth and nose contaminating EVERY GUESTS FOOD !!!
