EXCELLENT
I went here to buy my diet green tea near the deli and they were out of it. So I went to the front desk, asked for a rain check. They haven't done since this virus started. We'll don't advertise what you don't have enough. I travel over 25 miles to shop at Publix.
I normally really enjoy going to Publix but the cashier I had today was horrible. Her name was Lisa. She was carrying on a conversation with another worker so I was standing there waiting patiently. I was looking at the candy while I was waiting. She proceeds to tap her fingers on the item belt when she decides she was ready to ring me up. She then charged me for 2 springs waters when I got purified water, which wouldn’t have been a big deal except for the fact that she verbally acknowledged that she rang up the wrong water and then proceeded to give me my total. She didn’t ask if I was okay with it or anything. I’m very aggravated and disappointed.
So I order from this Publix all the time! I ordered a cake on Monday, December 7, 2020. I went to pick up the cake on Thursday, December the 10th. The top half of the cake was completely bare and the writing on the bottom was very small and didn’t even cover the bottom half. Hunter, the manager on duty said that unless you are specific that this is how they make their cakes. His tone was nice but his managerial skills are below sub par. They offered me a $5 discount on a 25 dollar cake. This is the absolute WORST service I ever had at Publix and apparently some employees need customer service training as opposed to blaming the customer for the stores mistake! Incredibly insane! Now I have to rush from work tomorrow to get a cake I should already have at no fault of my own. This location should be ashamed of how this was done and handled. The employees were sweet but this just was not right at all.
The workers are always friendly at this location. The pregnant one (I can’t remember her name I’m sry) was the most helpful but I haven’t seen her in a long time. Publix in general is overpriced but it’s very clean and easy to find things. They could have more lanes open during busy times but otherwise no complaints from me
