***UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO OWNER’S COMMENTS***nnCAM is my Google name. I was indeed a customer and I have emails to show I attempted to contact the company about my missing item. The company responded, and then I provided more details, but then I never received an email back. I tried to give them time to respond and not heckle, but I was just completely ignored and not sure why I was ignored. I’m not saying this is a bad company, but I will not be able to use them again due to my experience. I just have to be honest and I wish them all the best.nn*** INITIAL REVIEW***nnThe move started off VERY well. I was so impressed at how things were going. Unfortunately, it went downhill after we reached the destination. It’s an extremely long story to how it all ended, but in the end, a few items were still on the truck before they were about to drive off. I noticed just in time to get one of the items, but they “could not find” the others and stated it must be in the house somewhere. I am fully settled and the other items are most definitely not here. I already tried contacting the company about it and that did not go anywhere. I was a little surprised about that, being they have high ratings overall. I thought the matter would be handled well, but it was not. Now, since I already tried reaching out and that did not go well, I have to leave the review.nnEven with the 4.9 overall rating they have (at the time I’m writing this), I’m more than disappointed. I’m so hurt at what happened because of the fact at how well things went at first before going downhill. I am also very sad that I have to leave this review because I do not like leaving bad reviews. With that said, I have to be honest, and that’s my purpose here. I unfortunately will never accept the chance to use them again.nnI hope that everyone else has a great experience moving forward.

Today our moving crew (Jon, Zion, Jonathan and Jimmy) did a fantastic job getting us back into our home after a complete renovation. We have used Georgia Home Movers twice now. Each time, Steve made the scheduling fast and easy. The crew shows up on time, they work hard and they know what they’re doing. They wrapped and protected our furniture and were very careful in our new home. These guys are great!

Setting up the move with Steve was great - he was patient and responsive. Wayne, the crew chief, communicated with us and the team that included Rashand and Key (?), were friendly, went beyond expectations, funny, professional and respectful of us and our stuff. Not the cheapest but we wanted reliable, trustworthy, caring and competent, and on time. We got what we paid for and will use them for our next move. This was a challenging move, from a big 3-story townhouse, to a mountain home the next day, 2.5 hrs away, up a one-way gravel road. No complaints from any of them.

This is my second time using Georgia Home Movers and the service still remains to be top notch. Ricky and Mari were very professional and considerate throughout the entire move. They were punctual and arrived on time, communicating with me as they were getting closer. They were quick but made sure that they were focusing on the details to ensure all of your belongings were protected during the move. Could not be any happier with the service. Highly recommend.

We used this moving company on sat, 2/13/21. They were great from beginning to end. Very professional, courteous, hard-working, and expedient. They made what was the biggest move of my life a nearly stress free experience, and got it done considerably faster than I thought they would. On top of all this, they were very inexpensive -- so much so that I was actually surprised by how little they were asking for when it came time to settle up. Would definitely recommend using their moving service.
