Had breakfast - sausage, egg and cheese biscuit with grits. Everything was really good but the biscuit was a little hard and dry. Overall though it was a nice meal.

After my second time visiting Donut Dollies, I am somewhat satisfied, but still a bit disappointed. The donut varieties are creative, but the overall flavor and experience isn't worth the expensive prices. At the end of the day, they are selling donuts, not a gourmet brunch. With tip, we spent about $50 on one dozen donuts. That is hardly worth it. In their defense, I should have known because it has that pretentious bistro feel when you walk in. They didn't even open on Saturday until 8am. That is definitely not typical of a donut shop. From now on, I will spend less to get more flavor and have more of a welcoming experience.
OMG. The quality. The freshness. The perfection. The surprising variety. My waistline! Get there early. Open until 4 pm or they sell out, whichever comes first!
The vegan donut I had was good. I do wish they made vegan donuts available during the week as well and that they had more than one single vegan option.
