They will happily give you an insurance surprise.nnI went there for multiple massage sessions in 2017 because they worked with my insurance company at that time, later they said they will be stopping taking Premera insurance at that time and they told me to check with them in future if they take Premera or not.nnNow that after 3 years I was having lower back pain and my doctor prescribed me massage therapy, so I called Lake Washington wellness to check if they accept Premera or not, receptionist told me “We can certainly bill Premera for you” but she NEVER told me that they’re no longer in-network with them and will be charging insane amounts which I have to pay out of pocket.nnLater I received $750 bill for 3 massage sessions ($250 per 50-minute session), which Premera did not fully cover. I called Lake Washington to check why I was not covered by my insurance, and receptionist told me a different story saying when I booked your appointment I said We can certainly bill insurance but I never said we are in-network with Premera. Well you also did not tell that you’re still out of network, that’s why I called in the first place to ask. (Even though I told her the same thing about me being an old customer, and Lake Washington wellness stopped taking Premera, and I was told to call first.)nnI’m glad I saw the insurance bills for 3 sessions before going further, as I had another 10 sessions booked for next couple of months, otherwise I would be getting $2500 bill for those 10 sessions.nnAlso, my 4th session was complimentary, because of multiple last-minute changes they did to my appointment as their therapist had to get tested for Covid-19, the receipt I got for that session showed 50-minute massage in $110.nWell if 50-minute wellness massage costs $110, why would you bill $250 to my insurance knowingly they will not cover it?nnAlso, when I called to discuss this matter, after some discussion I was promised a call back from the owner which I never received.nnI absolutely would not recommend this business.

I have FINALLY found not only one therapist but TWO that I love and know what my body needs without me having to explain in great lengths. DESMOND and CHANDA are well trained and always leave me feeling better and healthier after each session. They cater to whatever my body is feeling and needing that session. I needed to share my experiences so others can benefit, now that I have scheduled out. :)

Everyone at Lake Washington Wellness is very professional, courteous and pleasant. I've never been one to get massages until a slip-and-fall back injury at work a few years back. My symptoms flare up occasionally and decided to try a different location. I am more than pleased with my care. Jennie Mills, specifically, is incredible. She goes far above and beyond my expectation and is very knowledgeable, attentive and passionate. I would recommend her to anyone and already have. Thank you for your care. I hadn't been in the last couple months and returned for a weekly session. I didn't realize how much I needed it until the results. I feel so much better. I sleep better, move better and already have better mobility and flexibility.

I had a wonderful experience getting a massage from Karen. It was such a relaxing and healing experience. I went in for pregnancy massage since I'm 35 weeks and my baby is breech. She helped me relax and did a great job targeting all my sore spots with good pressure. I felt very comfortable with Karen. She seems like a very smart massage therapist with a very high emotional intelligence. I'll be going back to her again!

I've been going to Lake Washington Wellness for a few years to help manage tension from flat feet and a desk job and to relax. I've had a great experience and would highly recommend Jennie and Rose in particular. Jennie is one of the most kind and relaxing massage therapists I've ever met and Rose's non-traditional approach works amazingly well for relaxing muscles and returning the bounce to my step.
