I've been taking guitar lessons from Joe Polito at Allegro for about a year now. Joe is laid back, funny, super friendly, very patient, and most importantly, a great teacher.nnIf there's a such thing as intrinsic musical talent, I have none whatsoever, but Joe believes that anyone can learn to play music. When I started, I literally didn't even know how to hold the guitar properly, but over the past year Joe has helped me make a ton of progress. He's great at explaining both the theoretical aspects of music, and the practical aspects of guitar playing, such as what finger placement to use when playing difficult riffs.nnI've still got a long way to go with my guitar playing, but I'm certain that I wouldn't have gotten nearly as far as I have without Joe's instruction.

Great place for guitar lessons for all levels! Joe Polito was my teacher and he was very helpful in designing a lesson plan based on my needs/interests. They are very flexible and make sure you learn music by playing what you want to play.

Joe Polito is an exceptional find in the world of guitar teachers. My 14 yo son has been taking lessons with Joe for 5+ years. Joe has the perfect combination of musical talent, a love of music, teaching acumen and rapport with students. Personally Joe is relaxed, friendly, funny and fiercely committed to teaching both guitar skills and music appreciation. Joe believes there is music in all of us and doesn't compare my son's talent to a perfect ideal. Though my son may not have what some of us call inherent talent, his love of playing continues to grow because of Joe's positive attitude and support. I believe my son's lessons are a reprieve from the stress of a structured environment and academic expectations.nnPlaying guitar with Joe every week is a positive influence and a joy for my son. We thank Joe for giving us this gift of music! We will be continuing with Joe for many years to come!

If you are considering getting guitar lessons then look no further! Joe Polito is one of the best guitar instructor's in town!! He is very musically inclined and also very patient by nature. He believes that anyone can learn to play guitar if they want and he is more than willing to teach them! My niece took lessons from Joe and not only did she enjoy learning to play, she actually became quite good as well! Joe's love for music is contagious and is one of the reasons why he is so good at what he does. If your serious about learning to play guitar then you would be doing yourself a big favor by taking lessons from Joe Polito at Allegro music. He really is that good! See for yourself!

Love Eric Weber. My girls age 10 and 14 have taken guitar, ukelele, violin, voice and piano with Eric. Laid back, lots of music experience and he's been teaching a long time. The new studio is nice and so convenient with coffee around the corner and plenty of parking. I'd especially recommend Eric for guitar - he's great with the teens who want to bring their favorite music to learn.
