This fishing pier is just an awesome place for a short walk in the evening. It actually extends right in front of sea and has a beach access too. This pier is well maintained and there are a few benches along the way. The weather was little cold and windy when we visited but we still enjoyed our time here. It is definitely a beautiful unique pier. Would love to enjoy a sunset here in summers for sure.

I love fishing at the Cape Charles Fishing Pier but with Covid 19, it is not the safest place to be. People are not wearing masks and yelling at each other for fishing spots. People are not socially distancing themselves either even though there is a sign to socially distance. Be careful if you have health concerns. Too crowded and not enough policing.

Clean and felt safe. Didn't like the Kelly's restaurant down the street. Bartender was rude and spiteful. I will say that the food was very good. Best salad I had in a long time
