I visited just to watch the ferries. I live (used to-recently moved not to far, mother still does and was visiting) very near-by and it was a beautiful day to just stop and enjoy the beautiful parts of Portsmouth. Esp. The parts that have a tiny piece of history infused inside that few ppl know about!

This is a great place to visit.This is a cc historical Area the city of PortsmouthnHas done a fantastic job and the city isnConstantly inproving this area. I can say that there is something for all agesnPlenty of night life,. museums,four starnHotels,and restaurants,nThey have a ferry to take you across the Elizabeth river to visit historicalnNorfolk and it docks at downtown water side in Norfolk for more shopping, concert and live bands, festivals, and two much more to list.nDo yourself a favor and see what yournMissing out on.nOk Enough Said just Check It Out !!!!!
