I.love food lion for its savings,good products, fresh vegetables, deli,delicious, sometimes the hospitality of a few of the workers. We have a pit of problems with politeness,kindnessabd respect from some of the workers.I understand that some of the public is hard to deal with but there is a way to show love and respect for others regardless cause you have to deal with the public..
Good quality, clean, well stocked food lion, stand out friendly staff, reliable inventory, above average bread selection, deli counter knows how to slice cold cuts and doesn’t groan when you ask for it to be shaved.
I would like to give this store a higher rating, however, we were told on Monday evening around 6:30 pm by the deli staff that they weren’t slicing cold cuts because “the store isn’t very busy” and they were going to start cleaning early. What?!? Why then are hours of operation posted if the staff is allowed to pick and choose when they start shutting their operations down? My husband and I are greatly disappointed! What kind of business is Food Lion running?
Employees are really friendly, but I found the selection very limited compared to stores in Pennsylvania. The beer selection was heavy on domestic lagers. The produce was 'meh'. The deli was almost non-existent. I found it odd that they had no real seafood section.
Empty shelves. Not enough cashiers for long lines. Meat being rationed. No pancake mix. What is this?
