Old Dominion designed a new layout for our kitchen cabinets to replace our outdated kitchen. Brenton was very friendly and easy to work with, and always concerned about our happiness with the project. In his design he added a peninsula and storage behind the refrigerator, customizing it to our requests. We had a great experience selecting the cabinet style and color and the counter top in the showroom. The team is very detail oriented at getting the right sink and the door/drawer pulls.nnInstallation went well, with a few hiccups, as is to be expected with any remodel. Brenton was very patient with us and responded to our concerns acting quickly to fix them. He said frequently that he was only concerned with us being happy with the kitchen. We LOVE it! The cherry cabinets and quartz counter tops are fantastic and the work areas have functioned very well for our family. There are many new elements like big drawers for pots/pans, lazy susans, slim cabinets to store flat baking sheets/cutting boards and another slim tall drawer that is perfect for spices. Since the cabinets go to the ceiling, suddenly I have more storage than I know what to do with. There are actually empty shelves right now, but it won't be long until they are all filled as we reconfigure.nnWe are really happy with this investment in our home. My only challenge along the way was not feeling confident in my style/color choices. I didn't like the current trend of light/white cabinets and reverted to a color that was a little older so trying to make the whole kitchen look classic was a challenge. If that is a concern for you, it would be worth consulting with a separate designer ahead of time. While the ODC team is great at designing the layout, the style is totally up to the buyer.
