My Husband and I had a WONDERFUL stay at the Richard Johnston Inn this past weekend. Our room which was the Virginian was beautiful and very clean and our breakfast was outstanding. Cindy, Betsy, and Liz were the BEST! We felt so at home with them and they made our stay so inviting and comfortable. They are just so sweet and kind! Please do not stay anywhere else when visiting Fredericksburg. Stay at the Richard Johnston Inn because you will truly enjoy staying there and it will be a wonderful memory for you. We hope to come back at Christmas time!

Absolutely beautiful Inn . Liz, the innkeeper, was welcoming, warm, and prepared the most scrumptious breakfast. We loved our room, Olivia room, beautifully appointed, comfortable and of course, loved the bottle of liqueur and chocolate kisses left in the room.nThe sitting areas were lovely. The Inn sits on a charming street full of shops and restaurants. Wish we could have stayed longer, it was a tease!

A stop at the Inn on our drive home from Florida was a delight! We stayed in the Isabella suite which was spacious and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious, too! We couldn’t resist buying a few mugs to take home as a keepsake. I would highly recommend staying here. If we are ever in Fredericksburg again, we will definitely be staying at the Inn!

Weekend getaway to celebrate a birthday.n. I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was. The ladies running the Inn are fabulous hosts, who shared some history of the property, and made delicious breakfast s! You are invited to tour each room that is not occupied, each with its own personality, that are beautifully decorated by the Inn’s owner. We stayed in the Kitchen House room, which has a private entrance through the courtyard, and was once the actual kitchen to the home. The beds are so comfortable! We will definitely be back.

Fabulous stay at a warm and welcoming Inn. PerfectnPlace to stay during the pandemic. They had close attention to safety and cleanliness. The courtyard with its fire pit is a wonderful place for social distancing and to just hang out with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. Beds were unbelievably comfortable, the food delicious and the staff helpful and friendly. This is our second stay here and it will not be our last!
