Came in & everyone just kinda ignored us. We meandered around browsing books for a few minutes & I was going to get a drink. There was no one to help & another patron drinking their drink had to tell me that there was more books & staff available upstairs. We go upstairs to be immediately shooed back downstairs because it's closed upstairs. We got strange looks from everyone there, were ignored, no one was wearing masks running around the shop. I immediately left because I just didn't feel welcome in the shop. I came in to look for books & support small businesses, but their loss. ud83eudd37♀ufe0f It was a quaint little shop though, that's why it got 2 ☆s. Atmosphere is all it had going for me.
Nice rusticstyle coffee shop /bookstore has live bands and music not sure about now due to pandemic but I really like the atmosphere here im no coffee wiz but if you know what you like im sure they will make it staff is always nice and polite hope you all enjoy and tip well
Relax and enjoy your coffee and scones or give your mouth a treat with homemade ice cream and fruit sherbert!!!
Relaxing, welcoming and some really unique reading! We just visited once but will return. Look forward to a summer visit too, the area has a colonial charm.
I go more often than need be, but it's amazing.
