Kurts County Store &Tavern

Locally owned and staffed, this place is a momento of a former American standard when small shops sold it all including auto fuel, canned soup, and toilet paper! Next door, you'll also find a saloon, stocked with beer from the same store. The coffee isn't bad, the company, locals of all flavors that come and go, are exceptional. I enjoyed sitting on the porch for about 45 minutes, as a day unfolded at this treasure in remote Oregon. There isn't a menu or a restaurant anywhere in sight, for that hustle down to Post about 30 miles westward for a small menu with big, homemade flavors such as their meatloaf sandwich!

Such a quaint little place, the Saloon was closed when we were there so I didn't get a chance to check it out but the store had some pretty cool item's. The ladies running it were awesome and friendly. Absolutely majestic drive to get there.

Little bit of everything, friendly and accommodating, high prices but it is the only place for quite a long haul.

In the middle of nowhere, on the lonesome Palina Highway, is this little grocery store. Glad it's still open and surviving. Not a lot of selection though but enough things to keep you from starving. Nice friendly lady when I was there.
