It's been a few years since I visited, but it was a day to remember. Spent several hours there and remember the coins on the headstones paying respect to the fallen Seaman. Also remember headstones in a far corner of the Cemetery, which were German Merchant Marines who were captured and confined to that part of New Mexico. They either died while confined, or decided to stay in the U.S. after the war was over. The Captains headstone had his AND his wife's picture.
Paying respects to our fallen heros. If you are in the area definitely come by and see.
Very moving, as all national cemeteries are.
