Was out here on May 27th 2020 to visit my Parents Grave site. Out of all the years I’ve been coming out here. This place looked horrible !! Grass NOT Cut! Trash in different areas! Buyer beware. Research before you purchase a plot here. They are owned by a corporation and behave as such. Only MONEY buys the dignity they offer. It was only fitting that my mother be buried next to her mother and father at Forrest Hill. It is well kept and I thought their service would have been as empathetic as it was when we buried my grandfather. My mother passed away last week and my experience for my mother has been deplorable in my opinion. The initial screened phone call 'sounded' sincere as the receptionist pushed for personal information before the cemetery would offer any information other than the perk of using their mausoleum for services before burial(I directly had to ask this to get this answer, my other direct answers were not answered due to fear of a misquote). Due to being excessively busy my phone call was not returned that day as promised. I phoned the next day, i was told the person I needed to talk to was still too busy again. I finally received a phone call back with someone whom could supposedly give my family answers on options, expectations, guidance through this difficult situation as they did with my grandfather over 10 years ago. Possibly offer to schedule a full discussion. NOOO. I was met with brief rehearsed condolence, followed by a too busy to meet with us this weekend, especially since the family was still unsure how to grant my mothers wishes without a life insurance policy or assets as collateral. Until we knew what we wanted there was no point in meeting with them they said. The point was that when I bought my mother her plot next to her parents that this dignity 'corporation' cared, that they would be willing to guide or assist the understanding of our options, how to achieve them from an empathetic consultant. This was thrown back as the funeral home's responsibility, that it wasn't worth talking to them until after we made arrangements with a funeral home. That the funeral home would 'know' their prices and specific mandates for any choices we would make with them. ALL liability thrown back to the independent, governed funeral home. Zero liability or governance rested with Forrest Hill cemetery. Regardless if property was already purchased there. Overall they have treated my family poorly. Consequently, the lot purchased at Forrest Hill Cemetery for my husband and I (bought when I purchased my mothers lot) is now for sale. So I can buy from an independent cemetery service with well stated stipulations and pricing. NOT from a greedy, self serving Dignity memorial corporate owned facility.

Very beautiful grounds. Well maintained. Saw Tarzan there.

Very sad to see entire lines of gravesites covered by overgrown bushes. My fathers stone cannot be even be seen any more. I would expect since he picked out his grave site and cemetery he would not appreciate this kind of care. Please fix this and I will be happy to change my review. The entire line of stones along walkway to the mother and children statue is covered by bushes
