Garden Center at The Home Depot

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT (SHARON)nnI called this store several times near closing time and asked if I could order a security camera over the phone that was on sale for $199.99. The store representative told me on both occasions to either order online or call back the following day since they were about to close and didn’t allow customers in the store. I tried explaining that ordering online wasn’t an option since they only had “limited stock” available. On the third day I called into the store and finally found a representative who was willing to help me.nnShe confirmed the price went up to $399.99 from the previous day however but also confirmed that the price was $199.99 because it still said $199.99 on the shelf and on the tag. She was going to place the order for me when the manager “Sharon” told her no.nnI spoke to Sharon and explained that I couldn’t make it into the store until almost closing time since I work everyday as a first responder. Sharon didn’t care that I called in the previous day to order this camera at the sale price, she didn’t care that I worked all the time as a first responder and couldn’t make it to the store on previous days and she denied me the pricing for the security camera even though the shelf and tag still said the sale price.nnI called another store manager who said what they did was 100% wrong and offered to make it right however they were Out of Stock at the time. I would never ever again shop at this store even if they are the only ones with the item in stock. Bad Customer Service so avoid at all cost.

It is actually the better part of the Home Depot. The people who work here are so much much nicer than all the rest of the people who work in the general store. They should remove all the open boxes and not leave them on the shelves.

If I could give this place ten stars I would, a worker named Charles helped my mother and I when we bought a tree from them and our SCAT bus wouldn't take us. We ordered a cab after that and he helped us with our bags, giving us some plastic bags to consolidate our groceries, helping load our tree into the cab and even offering to call a friend of his that drove a cab when ours was late. He was warm, friendly, and extremely helpful. I could not say thank you enough. Anyone in customer service should take their cues from him, he treated us as no less than family and made a day that could have easily been a horrible experience, wonderful.

For the most part, the ladies in garden Dept are great and Lou in plumbing is great and very knowledgeable.
