Traveling from Chicago to the UP for vacations, we always stop at the Swedish Pantry for incredibly satisfying and tasty meals. We’ve enjoyed Swedish pancakes, Swedish potato pancakes, kotbullar (meatballs), various lunch sandwiches, freshly in-house-baked breads, and we can’t say enough wonderful things about their Walnut Sour Cream pie- it’s just over-the-top scrumptious. It’s stuffed with funky wall clocks, and an outstanding selection of fridge magnets, and it proudly struts its vibe. Yummy food, good for the soul, and a local treasure. We love it!
Stopped into this restaurant for breakfast on our way back home to Minnesota. Absolutely outstanding! Delicious food, great service, and AMAZING decor. This is now a must-stop any time we're in the U.P.
Me and my husband had a wonderful lunch here! He said that the Swedish pancakes were delicious and the ham was some of best he’s had in years! I had their chicken breast salad and it was delicious! This place was very understanding of my dairy allergy and took great care to not contaminate my meal. The staff was friendly and our waitress was very helpful! Also got a souvenir mug! 5/5 would go again.
