The absolute best donuts around! Chocolate Bavarians that are the perfect proportion of filling to donut. Their red velvet and blueberry cake donuts are amazing. The monthly special donuts are often great (the mimosa donuts in April are my favorite).nnShop local and support a good business with a superior product.
Donuts are absolutely amazing, 5 stars.nnProblem is if you go in the evening or late at night you'll probably get an impatient teen helping you. They just don't understand that it takes a bit to choose from the delicious selections. They tend to be more impatient and salty with kids their age.nnSelections are also limited at times if you go late, and the kids who make the donuts later are so inconsistent with size and toppings.nnRegardless of all this, I highly recommend this place.nnI hear Spunky Dunkers is owned by 3 sisters, I hope they read this and tell their employees to be nicer.nnUpdate 2021nI've had nothing but great experiences since my last 3 star review. Service has been great and donuts are absolutely amazing and always fresh. I love this place.
Solid donuts and coffee every time
Fantastic trip to Spunky Dunkers! It was so fun trying their red velvet and apple fritter and Bismarck Donuts! They're huge and taste amazing and at a really great price. Not to mention it was really fantastic to see them busy. Can't wait to go back soon!
the BEST cake donuts around. I always thought I preferred yeast donuts but wow Spunky Dunkers has changed me. Heat up the red velvet or the honeydew donut in the microwave for 15 seconds and it's absolute heaven. Their filled strawberry donut is another favorite. A Palatine gem of a shop perfect when you're craving something sweet. Super fast service too!
