My visit was nice the building had air conditioning. Staff friendly. Made visitation with my loved one pleasent. I've been to other prisons that are much worse. I promise.

Inmates are abused by guards ,beat while there are handcuffed & shacklednAccommodation's are horriblenCell phone and drugs are plentiful if inmates have the money.nI wonder how so many cell phones get into the prison because you know if you have ever been there vistors are searched throughly.

Corrupted staff alarming rate of drug traffic prejudice on the White race pricing low threat criminals in with killers and sex offenders inmate abuse from the staff also employing criminals such as chaplain Brown no medical facilities whatsoever people overdosing on drugs back to co's bring in no control over violence everyday people get stabbed not shutting the yard down on commissary day so all the white guys get mugged while the Black officers turn a blind eye coercing people false accusations write ups disciplinary action and it is a total shipwreck as I mentioned no medical facility whatsoever so many people have died there that could have been prevented Alabama government doesn't have what it takes to run the prison as they do limestone where there is no drugs Nor cell phones the main reason for violence in the facility they officers make more money exploding crime and they do on their salary pay or however they get their paycheck they need to be investigated and I'm sure they have more than one bank account because they make their money off the families of the convicts when they use Walmart cards any real investigator could pick them out with minimal investigation they put me in a what they call Thunderdome when I was residing in the faith dorm for the simple fact of helping a dying inmate needed immediate Healthcare so I got on the phone and went over the heads of the staff and now I have a write-up as lying on the facility total corruption and a lot of telephone scams are being committed everyday and night by what they call skits and innocent upstanding citizens of the state of Alabama get taken advantage of and ripped off on a daily basis because the officers instead of confiscating the phones they find they just turn around and sell them right back into the genetic cesspool the worst of the worst and they profit from it I could go on and on and on

It sucks!! Stabbings all the time.

Because of the staff rude and don't know how to talk to folks nasty it stinks my husband in there can't wait till comes home too much violence
