Everything from start to finish went perfectly smooth. I put my request out and got a call from Nate within minutes. From there we discussed the items and size of residence being moved and to where and he provided me a quote. The movers showed up and quickly got right to work. They were polite, professional, and took the effort to make sure our stuff was protected during the move. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone who needs movers! Thank you guys!
They did a move for me in 9/2019 from south Austin to North Austin. In addition to moving they also packed..I was pregnant at the time and just supervised. The guys did a great job and were on time. I would use them again.
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! I would give ZERO stars if I could.They are very unprofessional. One of the movers broke my tv. I even still tipped the movers at the end of the move because it was a very hot day, and I had no elevator at my new place. The mover who broke my tv was also apologetic, which I appreciated. He called Nate (the owner) to explain the situation. Nate promised to replace it. I asked to have that promise in writing as any person would when you destroy their property and promise to fix it. He got offended when I asked for it in writing, as if I was in the wrong. I was then told that my new tv would be delivered that next week, which DID NOT happen! I tried calling Nate several times. The first time, he said that he was on the phone with a client , and will give me a call back right after. NEVER HAPPENED! I then tried calling him back the next day, and he had blocked my number. This company is very shady and unprofessional. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, STAY AWAY!
I hired them for a move in JULY. The owners son - who happened to be one of the movers, by the way - destroyed my irreplaceable old piano! He has had the thing in his garage for nearly 6 months! He has also completely stopped communicating with me. I have no idea WHATS going on!nnFirst of all, Nate told me that they would move it at no additional charge because they charge by the hour. Happy about that, I opted to have them do it, assuming they would know what they were doing. When his son had trouble getting it out of my house, he came over to help and was reassuring. Then he took off and didn’t bother to make sure it got loaded or stabilized properly. Then he allowed his son and the other kid to drive it to my second story apartment, where if it had arrived in one piece, they would have had to haul it up two flights of stairs by themselves. Then when he found out the thing was broken, he decided not to file an insurance claim. Now he’s spent at least a thousand dollars and he says he can’t afford to fix it!!! This is the most f*ked up thing I have ever had to deal with from a business owner! I have been cordial with him; I haven’t hounded him; I’m trying to give him room to fix his errors, but we’re in DECEMBER now, and still no piano, and he has stopped communicating with me completely... it’s a nightmare.
InstaMove made my move far less stressed than any other move I’ve had. I highly recommend due to the fact that not only is the owner Nate very communicative but also each of his employees. They are very professional and punctual.
