A-AAAKey Mini Storage

I've rented from this storage facility for a few years now, never had a issue here until about 3 weeks ago. My storage unit was broken into and alot of tools and centemential items given to me from my grandparents were stolen, I had storage insurance which is covering the cost of the stolen items. The theft is not the reason I'm leaving a bad review, the reason I'm leaving a 1 star review is because of the way Kari (the manager) handled the situation, she told me she wouldn't even look at the facilities security cameras to see who it was or when the theft happened (they only stole tools and passed up on items that were hundreds of dollars, leading me to think someone saw what was in my unit when I was there one day, meaning the thief has access to the facility which means they are probably a tenant), she was very short/rude with me on the phone about what happened. The facilities automatic gate had been broke for at least 5 days(allowing anyone to go in) during the time of the break in. And on top of that they can't even view their security camera footage because their remote doesn't even work with their system. Might as well throw the cameras away if you can't use them. There have been other break ins here other than mine recently from what SAPD told me. Daven on the other had was absolutely great to work with and you could tell he actually cares about his customers. I've NEVER left a bad review for anything so this should tell you how disappointed I was with Kari's professionalism. Long story short, if you care about your items you are storing, just know if they get stolen your on your own and Kari will not be of any help or even act like she cares. Get a storage unit down the road, I found the same size unit for over $40 cheaper.

Daven was helpful and friendly. Also the storage unit and property are well kept. I recommend this location.

The manager actually stopped and spoke to me for a few minutes offered me a water that hasn’t happened in the two years I’ve been here, it’s nice to see a smiling face . I actually saw her sweeping the hallways something else I’ve never seen before. This place is clean and friendly I would highly recommend it. Thanks Kari .......

I would highly recommend this facility, Kari was very nice and professional and the property was very clean.

Run!! Do not go here! There is a really rude front desk person. I think her name is Kelly and her husband also works there his name is Dennis. This Kelly is very unprofessional and rude. I have called corporate a few times to report her behavior. One time she even cursed out my 16 year old daughter infornt of my 3 year old son. I have also had to double check my recipes due to her posting my payments in “wrong” accounts therefor my units were in “default” due to her. I lost one unit due to her. I have called corporate and once again nothing has changed. Take your money else where!
