So so. Not great. Need improvement on ordering system and pick up procedure.nnNegatives- no indication of when your to go order will be ready after placing online, menu didn't mention 2 items were VERY spicy. Making 2 dishes not edible to those who ordered them. Pick up area allows one person to pick up at a time. Everyone else stands in line outside. Fine I get covid times but could be a lot more efficient. Basic issue was someone in front of us ordered food (in person). We had to wait for them to order and pay. Then had a conversation while we waited to get our food. Dont get it. Wont be back.nnPositive- The food I ate was pretty good. It was very spicy which I like. Overall not great and not worth dealing with the issues.
The staff was efficient and friendly. but the meal stole the show. My butternut ravioli was one of the finest plates I've ever been served. I wish the Root Cellar was closer to me, so I could visit regularly. The trek from RI would be too much. Keep up the great work folks...
We have been ordering the paleo dinners for over 2 months now and simply love it!!! The food is delicious, never repeated and very practical for busy families! I recommend this place and specially their family and paleo dinners for everyone who struggles with dinner preps.
Relaxed, casual atmosphere. No fuss dining, with an outdoor patio option. The menu consists of simple dishes (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) expertly prepared to satisfy any palate. The food is made fresh, supporting local farmers. A small array of beautiful cakes and pies are displayed (encased) to tempt your sweet tooth. Save room because they don't skip on perfection here, either.
Always great service and good made from scratch food. I always get a slice of cake to go, as their desserts are delish. Tonight, my vegetarian friends had dinner with me there and were impressed with the vegetarian options, as well as the flavor.
